modern school portraits: at home!

Thank you for booking your child’s school portraits with me, I am so excited to work with your kiddos and you!

Wardrobe:

Bright, vibrant colors work best against the black background.

AVOID all black - you don’t want the floating head effect! 

Please no logos, clothing with words or neon/excessively bright colors

Small patterns work well, textures are terrific.

Hair accessories are fun.

Your kiddos wardrobe should show off their personality.   I am fine with silly, crazy, goofy outfits that your child chooses themself!

For younger kiddos, please have one parent or guardian available be available if noses need wiped or hair needs brushed.

Other Details:

Sessions will last 5 minutes with 5 minutes in between children. If you have more than one child, you will have booked the corresponding number of sessions for number of children. You will have one 5 minute session per child. Sibling photos will be taken in the 5 minute pad between sessions.

Modern school portraits are for kiddos only.

If you are late for your session, your spot cannot be held as there is a very short turnaround in between sessions.

Please do your very best to be on time, but if you have an emergency and can’t make it, I will try to accommodate you at the end of the day or on another scheduled school portrait day if slots are open but can’t guarantee it!

Session fees are NOT refundable but can be applied to a different school portrait day or a full rate family or portrait session at a different date, all sessions times are subject to availability.

Covid safety protocols will be followed to keep us all healthy!

Sessions are easygoing, fun and silly so have your kids come prepared to be goofy.
