What are original school portraits ? 

My school portraits turn the standard school portraits on their head!  The photos I take have a timeless feel and are very frame worthy!  They are a little time capsule of your child on photo day. My passion and my goal is to capture the true spirit of each child.  I never ask for a cheesy smile, I work with each child to get genuine responses and emotions.  I think the most unique part of what I do, is I make it fun for your child so they can relax and be themselves. When all is said and done, my hope is that you see the true spirit of your child in the photos I take. 

I offer this boutique service to a few select schools each year in order to assure the highest quality experience.  I offer all the same services as the large photography studios, but the experience with me is more personal and relaxed.

What services do you offer?

I am an entirely online operation.  The experience is simple and convenient. Prior to photo day, I provide the school director with a detailed PDF to send to parents that includes wardrobe information and what to expect from photo day.

Once the images are taken, families are directed to a secure, password protected proofing site.  Galleries are set up in groupings to make locating their child simple.  I provide a video demo on the ordering process to help answer questions and to continue the seamless experience.  Each family is offered a selection of 5+ images of their child in both color and black and white.  Families choose the shots they like, as opposed to the photographer selecting the shots for them.  Once they choose the images they like, families have the option to purchase digital image downloads and order beautiful, quality prints and fun products like canvas prints. I work with a professional lab that does a wonderful job on prints. Families can order one shot or the entire gallery of shots.  This is a unique aspect of the services I offer - choices !

I welcome siblings to come in on photo day to get images taken with the student. Siblings that do not attend the school can also get their individual portraits at the same time as their brother or sister.

Prints will be ordered by parents online and prints will be delivered directly to the school

I provide all personnel and equipment for photo day. 

I field all questions from parents concerning ordering images and product options.

I offer complimentary staff photos and class photos.  With each order, parents receive a free class photo.

I provide the school with all the digital images for use in whatever way they wish to use them. (School promotion, website, blog, etc)

I am happy to work with your school to suit your individual needs.  I am able to accommodate small and large schools alike.

Are the images expensive ?

My prices are very competitive and affordable.  There are no up front costs to schools for my services. All profits are made from orders placed.  I offer a wide variety of products, from economical collections to a la carte products that will meet everyone's needs.
