Why you should print your photos! | Seattle Family and Portrait Photographer

PHOTOGRAPHS SHOULDN’T LIVE ON YOUR COMPUTER

We live in a digital age, and so many of the photos we have live on our phones, in the cloud or on our computers. I am going to say something revelatory….photos belong on the wall, or in books you can page through! I want your photos to be a part of your everyday life. I want you to pass by them on the way to get a snack in the kitchen, or as you go to tuck your kids in bed at night. I get it, it can feel overwhelming to choose which images are print worthy. But I am here to help!

SAMPLES HELP YOU SEE AND TOUCH

I have a nice library of samples of paper and various products that you can see and touch so you can get a good idea of what you like and what will look good in your home. I can bring these along with me for our session so you can see your options or we can talk after your session and have a planning meeting. The professional lab I work with (@Millerslab) does a really spectacular job and produces some very special heirloom quality prints and products. We’ll choose things that fit your unique decor whether that is modern, traditional or quirky! Photo prints and products make amazing gifts for grandparents or other loved ones.

VIRTUAL WALL CREATION

Another fun option I offer, you send me a photo of the space you are looking to create a photo wall with and I design a whole photo wall for you with photo options and variety of potential designs. It is so fun to be able to see exactly what a photo wall will look like in your actual space.

PHOTOS CREATE A HOME

The images I deliver to you are natural, emotional and truly capture who your family is. Putting your images on the wall creates a feeling of belonging and of family. They help create a warm cozy home. When my kids were little, I created lots of different photo books of our family and the trips that we took. They still love looking through those books today even as tweens. I still create books, they are durable and beautiful. Your children feel like a valued and loved member of the tribe when they are surrounded by happy family memories hanging on the wall.

You will never regret surrounding yourself with photos of the ones you love.
